Fawad Khan Still in Close Contact with Karan Johar, Ranbir Kapoor
Fawad Khan revealed that despite the unofficial ban on Pakistani actors in India, personal relationships across borders remain strong. In a recent interview with Pinkvilla, he shared that he still maintains close ties with the Kapoor family.
Speaking about Ranbir Kapoor, Fawad said, “I’m in touch on and off. We chat sometimes and talk on the phone, so I’ve been in touch.” He added, “I have enjoyed a very good relationship with the Kapoor family.”
Connections with the Kapoors aren’t surprising, as Ranbir Kapoor worked with Fawad in “Ae Dil Hai Mushkil,” while Alia Bhatt co-starred with him in “Kapoor & Sons.”
Addressing rumors of a rift, Fawad clarified, “There is still a lot of love and respect, even with Karan Johar and Shakun Batra.
So, the friendships are intact.” He continued, “I have producer friends with whom I keep in touch, and we make plans to meet up. There’s no love lost.”
