Fawad Khan’s Bollywood Comeback in ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ Cameo?

Renowned actor Fawad Khan, celebrated for his performances in both Pakistan and India, was recently rumored to be making a cameo in Bollywood’s ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.’ However, producer Bhushan Kumar has now addressed these speculations.

Amidst swirling social media rumors, Kumar clarified that Fawad Khan had not been cast in ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3,’ dismissing all circulating news as false. This revelation has left Khan’s Indian fans disheartened, as they have long awaited his return to Bollywood.

Kumar’s statement comes ahead of the film’s scheduled release during the Diwali festival this year, under the direction of Anees Bazmee.

Previously, Indian media had reported that Fawad Khan was set to return to Bollywood after nearly eight years. Rumors suggested he would star alongside actress Vaani Kapoor, with the film’s shoot expected to commence soon in London.

Fawad Khan’s popularity across the subcontinent is undeniable, thanks to his memorable roles in several Bollywood hits, including Khoobsurat, Kapoor & Sons, and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. His on-screen chemistry and nuanced performances have earned him a dedicated fanbase eagerly awaiting his return to the silver screen.

Fawad Khan’s Interview with Khaleej Times

In his latest interview with The Khaleej Times, Khan said that he doesn’t consider himself a superstar — not anymore at least.

“I don’t consider myself a superstar. I see myself as a modest contributor in the grand scheme of things. In the past, there were fewer stars and limited media platforms. Those who appeared on screen instantly became brands because of the scarcity of options, and projects were sold based on their names. Today, with exposure to wider languages, regions and global content accessibility, attention is dispersed, and new talent emerges from all corners, making the market fiercely competitive.”

He added, “Superstars have taken a backseat as content has emerged as the cornerstone of projects. Whether it’s me or any other actor is irrelevant; what matters is the unique contribution each of us brings to the project.”
