Reflecting on her early career, Anoushey discusses the unique circumstances that shaped her as a VJ, crediting the influence of international music channels like MTV and Channel V. With no prior experience in front of the camera, Anoushey’s hands-on learning and guidance from the channel’s CEO played a big role in polishing her hosting skills.

Anoushey shared the memorable story of meeting Bollywood icon Salman Khan during a visit to India with a Pakistani team for an interview. Adding a humorous twist to the narrative, she described how Salman greeted the team shirtless, noting the common perception of him as the shirtless dancer on the beach throughout people’s lives. Further elaborating on the encounter, Anoushey mentioned Salman’s gym workout session and his dilemma over choosing a shirt. She chuckled as she recalled, “He emerged from the gym all ripped, asking, ‘Which shirt should I wear?’ And I thought, these are the legends.”

In a society often portraying women’s lives revolving around marriage, Anoushey reveals her distinctive upbringing. Encouraged by her father to pursue a job at 18 while completing her education, she emphasizes the importance of financial independence; she challenges societal norms, asserting that marriage should occur in its own time, not rushed or delayed, and shouldn’t define a woman’s entire life. Despite societal expectations, she values her autonomy and believes that marriage should not be a hindrance for women.

Anoushey candidly addresses her decision to forgo a marriage announcement made a few years ago, highlighting common relationship challenges. Defying societal pressures, she emphasizes the significance of personal choices and individual agency in shaping one’s life and career.
