Pakistani actor Muneeb Butt has shared his views on keeping marital disagreements away from social media, arguing that problems within a marriage should remain a private matter between the people involved.

During a recent appearance on a private television channel, the actor described the issue as a serious one and cautioned couples against turning their personal struggles into public discussions. According to Muneeb, bringing domestic disputes online can expose families to criticism and unwanted attention from people who know little about what is happening behind closed doors.

Explaining his position, the actor said, “Whatever happens within the privacy of your home should stay private.” He pointed out that once personal matters are shared publicly, people feel free to offer their opinions, pass judgments, make jokes, and even turn someone else's difficulties into a source of entertainment.

Muneeb believes this is one of the biggest risks of discussing marital problems on social media. What might begin as an attempt to express frustration or seek support can quickly attract reactions from strangers, making an already difficult situation even more uncomfortable for the people involved.

The actor also made it clear that his advice comes from a principle he follows in his own life. He explained that he would never encourage anyone to take their domestic issues to social media, adding that whatever happens within his home belongs to his family rather than the online world.

“Whatever happens within my home is my family’s personal matter, not social media’s,” he added.

The actor has been married to fellow actress Aiman Khan since November 2018. The couple, who have also worked together in television dramas such as Khwab Saraye and Baandi, are among Pakistan's well-known celebrity couples.
