Actor Shaan Shahid will star alongside Amar Khan in the forthcoming psychological horror thriller “Faramosh”.
Reports indicate Abu Aleeha will pen and helm the big-budget Urdu-Punjabi British co-production.
The project marks the first time Shaan and Amar will share the big screen. Further details about the cast, the shooting schedule and the release date have not been announced.
Neither actor has confirmed the casting yet.
Shaan most recently appeared in “Psycho”, a psychological thriller he wrote, directed and headlined. That film also stars Meera, Sonya Hussyn, Javed Sheikh, Shabbir Jan and Nayyar Ejaz.
It premiered in Pakistani cinemas on May 27, 2026, on Eid al-Adha.
Amar is presently engaged in a movie with YouTuber Rajab Butt, who is making his big-screen debut. Syed Faisal Bukhari will direct the film, based on a Sarmad Ibrahim screenplay. Amar takes the female lead, and the cast features Resham, Saba Faisal and Babar Ali.
The team recently finished the first major shooting phase in Chiniot, Punjab.
