Watch Trailer of Mahira’s Baarwan Khiladi

The trailer for Barwan Khiladi is out now! This is the first project of Mahira Khan’s production house Soul Fry Films. The story revolves around Akbar played by Danyal Zafar. He’s a small town boy who has the aim of playing in the national cricket team. Through hard work he makes it into a well-known Lahore Cricket League. However, there he faces many difficulties- he becomes the victim of biasness, racism, dirty politics, and unjustness. The movie also stars other big names including Sarmad Khoosat, Fawad Khan, Shoaib Malik, Mira Sethi, Kinza Hashmi, Saba Faisal, Usman Peerzada, and Shahveer Jaffery.

The movie seems to be promising as the teaser reflects. It starts with Danyal and Shahveer indulging in a fight. The trailer shows that Akbar finally makes it to the team as the 12th additional player. Also, he’s the only player who enters the team on merit.

Mahira had earlier talked about the movie and said that it is “a coming of age story set against the backdrop of the OG of all games — cricket. A story about friendships, relationships, unity, failure, success, love and courage”. Mahira Khan, Danyal Zafar, Kinza Hashmi and other stars have been sharing posts about their upcoming movie and netizens are all excited about it.
