Ali Zafar on Indian Idol 5
Using a famous television show for promoting a film is not new. As it is believed, the small screen is a perfect medium to grab attention of the general viewers. Using Sony TV’s music reality show ‘Indian Idol-5’ is a trend that is very popular in India but this would be the first time that a Pakistani musician/actor will be a guest and a celebrity Judge on Indian Idol.
Ali Zafar is planning to use Sony TV’s music reality show “Indian Idol 5 to promote his Bollywood debut film “Tere Bin Laden”. He is currently in Mumbai, India, to use music reality show as a platform to create awareness about his movie which has been directed by the Abhishek Sharma.
