Celebrity fandom can be a powerful thing, but Hiba Bukhari wants her supporters to remember that admiration should never come at someone else's expense. The Pakistani actress has addressed the negativity surrounding online fan discussions, making it clear that disrespect towards her colleagues is not something she wants associated with her name.
The issue came into focus after Hiba noticed comments circulating on social media that she found inappropriate. Returning to Instagram Stories, the actress explained that her previous post had been misunderstood. According to her clarification, she had been asking about the situation rather than inviting people to direct criticism at anyone.
Hiba's response was particularly direct when she spoke about the behaviour she expects from her own fan community.
“I love my fans and I know for a fact my fandom cannot disrespect anyone. I respect my co-actors and that is exactly what I expect from you all,” she wrote.
