In a recent appearance on Ahmed Ali Butt's podcast, Khalil Ur Rehman Qamar, a prominent Pakistani writer, stirred controversy by expressing intense anger and hatred towards Mahira Khan. Qamar attributed these strong emotions to a specific incident involving Mahira and insisted that she must seek forgiveness for him to consider reconciliation. This revelation has triggered substantial public criticism, with social media users branding Qamar as arrogant and questioning the appropriateness of discussing personal grievances about fellow celebrities on public platforms.
Critics argue that such statements may not only harm the reputations of those involved but also set a negative precedent for public discourse within the entertainment industry. A prevailing sentiment on social media is that Mahira Khan and Mehwish Hayat, both targeted by Qamar's statements, are unlikely to be affected by his anger.
