Political figure Quaid-e-Azam was also a lawyer and the leader of Pakistan's Islamic Democratic Party. He is referred to as Baba-e-Qoum (Father of Nation). After his passing, a number of institutions—including schools, colleges, universities, and statues—were named in Mohammad Ali Jinnah's honour after the Quaid. In addition, several places, including hundreds of parks, airports, medical schools, and roadways, bear Jinnah's name.
