Bollywood has once again landed in hot water after the release of its latest song, “Danger” from the upcoming film Param Sundari, starring Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor. What was meant to be a glamorous dance number has now turned into a controversy, with netizens accusing the makers of blatantly copying the title track of the Pakistani drama Mannat Murad.

The moment Danger dropped online, social media users were quick to point out the uncanny resemblance between its beat pattern and the melody of Mannat Murad’s title track, famously featuring Iqra Aziz and Talha Chahour. Many highlighted that not only do the tunes echo each other, but even the choreography in Sidharth and Janhvi’s performance seems to mirror the vibe of the Pakistani track.

Criticism poured in on social media platforms, with fans calling Bollywood out for its “copy-paste” tactics. Comments like “Bollywood kabhi copy karte hain, kabhi unfollow karte hain” and “I knew it sounded familiar, it’s a direct copy of Laal Suit from Mannat Murad” captured the overall sentiment.
