The British-Pakistani heart and lung surgeon, widely known for his past relationship with Princess Diana, has reportedly returned to the country to take on a major leadership role at the Jinnah Institute of Cardiology in Lahore. He is expected to serve as CEO and dean while also heading the cardiology department at the upcoming facility.
Dr Khan’s professional credentials have long stood on their own merit. Having spent years working within the UK’s advanced healthcare system, including stints at leading cardiothoracic centers, he has built a reputation for both clinical excellence and institutional development. His work has extended beyond Britain, contributing to cardiac healthcare projects in countries such as Saudi Arabia and Malaysia.
