Crowd Chaos and Poor management at Atif Aslam’s Karachi Concert

atif
A concert held on November 1 at the Moin Khan Academy in Karachi has been making headlines after videos of the event went viral on social media. Organized by Prism Events and Tours, the show featured popular singer Atif Aslam as the main performer, along with Asfar and the band Bayaan.

While fans were excited for the night, many attendees later criticized the event for poor management. Reports described overcrowding, long entry lines, and lack of proper organization. Some concertgoers said they waited for hours to get inside, while others couldn’t enter at all. Several also complained about rude behavior from staff.

One attendee shared, “We reached before 7 PM, but it took almost two hours just to get near the gate. There was no crowd control, no volunteers, and no proper entry system.”

Another added, “There were no separate lines for VIPs or regular tickets. We stood in line since 6:30 and entered after 8 PM, while some people without tickets got in easily.”

However, others defended the organizers, saying the situation got out of hand because too many people arrived after the gates had already closed. “We entered smoothly around 5:30 PM,” one attendee wrote. “They clearly announced the gates would close at 7 PM. If people came late, that’s not the management’s fault.”
