Model-turned-actor Iman Ali is all set to grace the silver screen later this year with the soon- to- be released movie, Mah-e-Meer.
The movie, which is based on the life and works of Urdu poet Mir Taqi Mir, also stars film and television actor Fahad Mustafa, Sanam Saeed, Ala Khan and Mazhar Sehbai.
Iman who made her film debut with Shoaib Mansoor’s post-9/11 drama Khuda Kay Liye, is a renowned face in the Pakistani fashion industry and has also modeled for Indian fashion designers such as Manish Malhotra, JJ Wahlia and Suneet Varma.
Anjum Shehzad the director of the film told media that he had decided to cast Iman for the role of Mehtab in the upcoming movie after seeing her essay the role of the courtesan effortlessly in the 2011 movie Bol.
