Faakhir MehmoodFamous Pakistani heartthrob Faakhir has requested the nation, especially parents to join the fight of making Pakistan polio-free.
Talking to a local channel, he encouraged the nation to help the government fight the deadly illness for the better future of their kids and for the better future of the country.
"The parents should cooperate with the polio special teams so that the set target could be achieved," he added.
He said that polio is a national issue and it is the responsibility of all to play an effective role to make the country Polio free. He also said that these two days of awareness program was launched by the Ministry of health where citizens of Islamabad will get free 'One vision stickers' for their vehicles to sensitize people.
The singer also requested media to highlight the issue as they are the biggest opinion-makers of the country.
