Agha Ali Announces ‘Happy Divorce’ from Hina Altaf After Two Years
Actor Agha Ali confirmed his divorce from actress Hina Altaf, ending two years of speculation about their separation. He shared the news during a podcast with Ahmed Ali Butt, with clips from the interview quickly going viral on social media.
In the interview, Ahmed Ali Butt called Agha Ali a “happily divorced man,” prompting Agha to laugh and reply, “You just knocked someone down from a height.”
Agha Ali described the decision to divorce as challenging but expressed gratitude that their separation wouldn’t impact any children. He shared that he lost his father at age five and understood the challenges of growing up without parental support.
Reflecting on relationships, he emphasized that any bond formed by mutual consent deserves effort and prayer to maintain. However, if things aren’t progressing positively, it may be best to part ways.
He added that despite their separation, both he and Hina Altaf would continue to respect each other, which he considers essential, as many couples struggle to maintain mutual respect after a breakup.
Agha Ali and Hina Altaf married in May 2020, but rumors of their separation began circulating in 2022, which Agha had previously denied. In August, morning show host Madihah Naqvi mentioned their divorce but later clarified it was a misstatement.
Afgha is the youngest son of the renowned 1980s actor Agha Sikandar (d. 1993) and the grandson of legendary singer, actor, and producer Inayat Hussain Bhatti, making him a nephew of television actor Waseem Abbas and a cousin of Ali Abbas. He is also the grandnephew of actor Kaifee. His brother, Ali Sikandar, is an actor and writer, while singer-turned-actor Ali Azmat is his mother’s cousin.
