Atta Ullah Esakhelvi Discusses His Five Marriages

Atta Ullah Esakhelvi, a celebrated Pakistani singer, is renowned for his songs in various languages including Siraiki, Punjabi, and Urdu. He has gained immense popularity for his Siraiki hits such as "Ballu Battian," "Bewafa Tera Yun Muskurana," "Sab Maya Hai," and "Mahiye." Recently, he collaborated with Ali Zafar to sing "Ballu Battian," which became a trending song in Pakistan, amassing around 23 million views. His son, Sanwal Esakhelvi, is also a singer following in his footsteps.

In a recent appearance on Hafiz Ahmed’s podcast, Atta Ullah Esakhelvi discussed his personal life, specifically his experiences with multiple marriages. He candidly shared the challenges he faced, mentioning that his four previous wives left him, which led him to marry for the fifth time.

Atta Ullah expressed, "My four wives left me, so I decided to marry again. The previous four said they couldn’t live with me, so I had to go for a fifth marriage. My eldest son Sanwal is in the USA, and my daughter is in Spain. Bilawal resides in London, while Fatima lives with us. I want my children to complete their education first. MashaAllah, Laraib is an Oscar nominee. Sanwal is involved in IT and also pursues music."
