Sami Khan highlighted the differences between being an artist and gaining fame during an interview with Jawad Bashir on YouTube. Drawing from his experience as a seasoned actor, Khan shared insights on how social media is reshaping the entertainment industry.
"There is a stark difference between being an actor and being famous," Khan stated. "Many platforms can make you famous. Going viral online grants fame, but being an artist is entirely different. I sometimes wonder if talented individuals exist who never got the opportunity to shine. And yes, luck plays a role in this process."
Khan praised his Tau Dil Ka Kia Hua co-star, Imran Ashraf, as an example of a "wonderful actor." Recalling their time together in a play in Thailand, he expressed his admiration for Ashraf's performance.
"After filming a scene with him, I told him, 'Keep at it, and one day you'll make it big.' And he did. Masha Allah, today he's a big star. He put in the effort, and he has the skills too," Khan said.
The Aik Chubhan Si actor pointed out that people often focus on a celebrity's stardom rather than the hard work behind it. He emphasized that true artistry lies in identifying one's talent.
