Dr. Zakir Naik, a respected Islamic scholar, is on a special 20-day visit to Pakistan with his son. Known for his deep understanding of Islam and comparative religion, Dr. Naik has a strong following among Muslims around the world. Originally from India, he now lives in Malaysia, where he focuses on spreading Islamic teachings and conducting Dawah (Islamic outreach).
During his visit, Dr. Naik appeared on the popular PTV News show “Sach To Yeh Hai,” hosted by Syed Anwar Ul Hassan. He expressed his admiration for the Pakistani people, stating, “Pakistani people are very close to my heart. After India, many of my fans are from Pakistan.” He shared how he appreciates the support he has received from Pakistanis over the years.
In the show, Dr. Naik emphasized the importance of reciting and understanding the Quran. He encouraged viewers to make daily Quran recitation a habit, explaining that it should be done not just as a ritual, but as a source of spiritual guidance. He said, “I have a message for Pakistanis: recite the Quran. They should understand it with translation. The more you recite it, the more peace you will find.”
