Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi has recalled the warm welcome he received in Pakistan during a visit to Lahore.
In a recent interview with Indian media, Hashmi said he, filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt and other team members travelled to Lahore for the promotion of Awarapan. Although the trip lasted only two days, he said the love and hospitality they received left a lasting impression.
Speaking about the visit, Hashmi said the reception in Lahore was heartfelt and memorable. He shared that the people were extremely warm and took great care of them throughout the trip. He added that while they had some concerns before travelling, those fears disappeared once they arrived.
When asked whether he had any worries about visiting Pakistan, Hashmi said there was nothing to fear and described Pakistanis as “beautiful people.”
