Model and actor Faryal Mehmood has revealed that her ex-husband, actor Daniyal Raheel, subjected her to mental abuse during their short-lived marriage.
The relationship saw mutual mental abuse, eventually leading to their separation. Following her divorce and a hiatus from work, Faryal is making a significant comeback in the industry, highlighted by her success in the show "Raqeeb Se."
During a guest appearance on the FHM podcast, she candidly discussed divorce, addressing the societal taboo surrounding it. Faryal emphasized the need to challenge the stigma associated with divorce, pointing out the unjust treatment faced by women labeled as divorcees in society.
She urged a change in mindset, emphasizing that divorce signifies a new beginning rather than the end of the world.
