Shahid Afridi, a well-known cricketer, is now showing an interest in politics, as do all Pakistanis. The batsman congratulated Shahbaz Sharif on his PMship, which was not well received by his fans at the moment.
In a recent interview, Shahid Afridi commended PM Shahbaz Sharif while criticising Imran Khan, saying that he admires Shahbaz Sharif's efforts in Punjab. He went on to say that during Imran Khan's reign, he committed a lot of blunders. He further stated that Imran Khan should not have travelled on roadways and that the issues might have been resolved within parliament. However, he stated that as a sportsman, he has always supported Imran Khan.
