Rising to stardom in the 1990s, Hadiqa Kiani quickly became a household name with her unique voice and versatility in South Asian pop music; her contributions to the music industry established her as an icon, but her influence extends far beyond her artistic projects. Kiani’s humanitarian efforts have drawn significant attention, particularly during the aftermath of the 2022 floods in Pakistan.
Through her initiative, Vaseela-e-Raah, Kiani provided relief to displaced families in Balochistan and South Punjab; her efforts resulted in the construction of over 370 homes and other essential facilities for flood victims. Moreover, she serves as a goodwill ambassador for the United Nations Development Programme, showcasing her unwavering commitment to creating positive change.
