Hamza Ali Abbasi Declares Staying Unmarried a Sin

Hamza Ali Abbasi has once again grabbed attention with his bold statement about marriage. The Alif actor declared that choosing not to marry is a major sin and compared it to hell, igniting a heated online debate.
“Shaadi ke ilawa karna gunah-e-kabira hai, jahannum hai (Doing anything other than marriage is a major sin, it’s hell),” Abbasi asserted.
His remarks quickly went viral, dividing social media users. While many criticized his views as outdated and strict, others supported his belief that marriage plays a crucial role in life. Despite the backlash, Abbasi remains firm in his stance and continues to advocate for what he considers the right path.
In an interview with Amna Haider Isani on Haute Talk, Abbasi reflected on his past struggles in love and relationships before meeting his wife, Naimal Khawar.
The Legends of Maula Jatt actor admitted that he had never truly experienced love in the right way before finding his soulmate.
“I had many bad experiences, and I believe the fault was mostly mine. Further, I wasn’t mature enough. I still don’t think I’m mature enough to say I’ve grown up,” he confessed.
Abbasi acknowledged breaking hearts and getting his own heart broken, expressing remorse for the pain he had caused.
“I’ve asked for forgiveness and did what I could to make amends. I’ve hurt people, I’ve broken hearts, and I have done many wrong things,” he admitted.
After facing numerous hardships, Abbasi said he turned to faith and made a sincere prayer.

“I prayed, ‘Oh Allah, I’ve never experienced true love, and I never thought of marriage.’ Then I chose a path and prayed for love or marriage. I didn’t know how to go about it, but I trusted Allah. I believe my prayer was accepted because Allah led me to love a person in a way that I had no control over.”
Hamza and Naimal Khawar got married on August 25, 2019, in Islamabad.
Abbasi is currently starring in Faraar, a drama serial written by Mustafa Afridi and directed by Syed Wajahat Hussain and Musadiq Malik.
