Hamza Firdous recently opened up about his family’s struggles after his father, Firdous Jamal, made controversial remarks in a YouTube interview, claiming he had left the family and suggesting they were better off without him. In response, Hamza felt it was essential to share his mother’s side of the story.
"As a son, I prefer to keep family matters private," Hamza stated. "But since my father has made our issues public, I feel it's only fair to share my perspective." He revealed that his mother had filed for Khula (divorce) after 35 years of marriage, emphasizing that such a decision is never taken lightly. Hamza commended his mother's resilience, noting, "She endured a complex relationship, bearing pain and hardship in the hope that things might change, but unfortunately, they did not."
Hamza also touched on his father’s imperfections, acknowledging that, despite his positive traits, his flaws had a profound impact on the family. Reflecting on his father’s struggle with cancer, he described how the family united to support him, contradicting his father’s claims of lacking support. "We did everything we could for him during his illness, but it felt like our efforts were in vain," he shared. Hamza ultimately reaffirmed the family’s desire for privacy, saying, "My father has chosen his own path, living life on his terms."
