Ahsan Khan shared the stage with legendary Indian poet and screenwriter Javed Akhtar at the Tahbib Multilingual Festival in Dubai, where the two celebrated global art and literature.

On Wednesday, Khan delighted his Instagram followers by posting a reel capturing a heartfelt moment when Akhtar spontaneously composed a couplet for him.

In the clip, Akhtar sat comfortably on a sofa, penning his poetry on paper rested atop a hardback book, while Khan sipped tea nearby. The poet wrote, “Ahsan Khan ke liye aik sher, unka karam hai unki mohabbat, kya mere naghmay, kya meri hasti. Dua goh, Javed Akhtar,” creating an unforgettable moment for the actor.

Fans flooded the comments with heart emojis, with one remarking, “Wow… only in Dubai can Indian and Pakistani stars meet.”

Both stars attended the Tahbib Multilingual Festival, held from December 1–3, celebrating cultural diversity through languages and art. Khan’s reel also offered glimpses of his Dubai experience, from boarding his flight to engaging in panel discussions about the cultural impact of music, cinema, and art.

Javed Akhtar, known for his illustrious five-decade career, has shaped Indian cinema through iconic works like Sholay and Don and continues to enchant audiences, recently contributing lyrics to Netflix’s The Archies.
