Renowned Pakistani actress Madiha Shah recently revealed that she once turned down an offer to star alongside Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar in the 1994 classic Mohra, opting instead to focus on her career in Pakistan.
Speaking on a talk show, Madiha shared that she was approached for a leading role in Mohra—famous for the hit song “Tu Cheez Badi Hai Mast Mast”—but declined the opportunity, saying, “I was offered to work with Akshay Kumar in Mohra, but I didn’t accept the offer because I wanted to give priority to my own country.”
She emphasized her commitment to representing Pakistan’s entertainment industry, explaining that she always felt a strong responsibility to showcase her nation’s talent rather than pursue fame abroad.
