Actors Mahira Khan and Humayun Saeed received commemorative shields for their contributions to Pakistani cinema during a special ceremony in Dubai, hosted by Pakistan’s Ambassador to the UAE, Faisal Niaz Tirmizi.
Currently promoting their upcoming film Love Guru, the stars were honored in front of Pakistani diplomats, fans, and media. Ambassador Tirmizi praised the creative industry’s role in enhancing Pakistan’s global image, calling artists a key part of the country's soft power. He highlighted that films like Love Guru reflect the country's evolving storytelling and connect with international audiences.
Reuniting on screen after nearly a decade since Bin Roye (2015), both actors thanked the Pakistani community in the UAE for their continued support and stressed the importance of staying connected to the diaspora.
