The legal dispute between Pakistani actors Mamya Shajaffar and Arslan Butt has ended after both sides reached an out-of-court settlement.
The matter had gained public and social media attention after Mamya, known for projects such as College Gate and Mesni, alleged during an interview that she had faced harassment from a fellow actor during the shooting of a drama. The actor was later widely identified in public discussion as Arslan Butt.
Arslan denied the allegations in a separate interview, after which the disagreement turned into a legal matter. Both sides issued legal notices and initiated formal proceedings.
