Nazish Jahangir Speaks Out on Fraud Allegations

Nazish Jahangir

Renowned actress Nazish Jahangir has finally addressed the fraud allegations against her, dismissing them as baseless and accusing her accuser of blackmail and extortion.

Speaking on Nida Yasir’s Ramzan show, she directly confronted the accusations made by emerging actor Aswad Haroon for the first time. Without mentioning his name, she alleged that someone deliberately attempted to damage her reputation and career with false claims.

“They systematically tried to tarnish my name with baseless allegations,” she stated.

She further accused the actor of seeking fame through controversy. “No one even knew the person who accused me. They just wanted to gain attention by using my name,” she claimed.

Financial Struggle Faced by Nazish Jahangir

Nazish also revealed the financial pressure she faced, saying, “They blackmailed me badly and even attempted to extort money from me.”

She explained why she initially chose to stay silent. “I worked hard to earn my name. If I had reacted, my reputation would have suffered, and the accuser’s plan would have succeeded,” she said.

Emphasizing her approach to handling personal matters, she added, “If I had responded publicly, people would have assumed I was guilty.” She credited her father for advising her to pursue legal action instead of engaging in online disputes.

“I took legal action against the accuser, and now the matter has been resolved,” she confirmed.

Nazish also cited the PECA Ordinance, warning that posting pictures, videos, or statements about individuals—including actors—without their consent could lead to legal consequences.

In September 2024, a Lahore court rejected her bail plea in a fraud case filed by Aswad Haroon, who alleged that he gave her millions of rupees in cash, a luxury car worth over five million, and other valuable gifts, believing she would launch him as a lead actor in the entertainment industry.

Now, after six months of silence, Nazish Jahangir has firmly denied the allegations, calling them a complete fabrication.

PM Modi’s War Claims Mocked by Pakistani Celebrities

India’s PM Modi recent speech addressing the India-Pakistan conflict has sparked a massive uproar online, not due to its content, but because of its perceived dramatic flair and questionable claims. Pakistani celebrities and netizens alike have turned the speech into a meme fest, ridiculing Modi for what many are calling blatant lies and theatrical exaggeration.

Umair Jaswal Leads the Meme Parade
One of the most viral moments came from singer and actor Umair Jaswal, who shared a meme clip featuring PM Modi speech—with the Indian PM accusing Pakistan of attacking India instead of joining the fight against terrorism. The meme added comic tragedy by playing emotional background music and using sad filters, making Modi’s claims seem almost satirical. Jaswal’s caption, “Yar kitni Ghalat Bat Hai, Aisay Nahi Karty Guys,” added to the hilarity and was widely reshared by fans.

Shaan Shahid Calls for “Medical Help”
Veteran actor Shaan Shahid also jumped into the conversation, sharing another part of Modi’s address. But unlike Jaswal’s light-hearted jab, Shaan’s take was more serious. He wrote, “He needs medical help, he is losing the plot now,” suggesting that Modi’s statements were not just misleading but delusional; this remark echoed a wider sentiment among Pakistani social media users, who questioned the Indian leader’s grasp on reality during his address.

Areej Chaudhary

Areej Chaudhary has shared a disturbing incident from her early career, revealing how several men watched a young actress change clothes on a drama set.

During a recent appearance on Nida Yasir’s morning show, where fellow actresses Maimuna Quddus and Sara Umair were also guests, Areej opened up about the experience, expressing her shock and anger.

She recalled a shoot in Lahore, where a new actress began changing clothes on set, which quickly became uncomfortable.

“She was forced to work for money,” Areej explained. “When she went to change her clothes, all the technical crew and boys on set gathered around.”

According to Areej, one boy noticed her and then called others to join. At first, Areej didn’t realize what was happening, but once she understood, she felt deeply disturbed.

“I didn’t know what to do,” she said. “I was new to the industry, and there were senior actors on set too.”

Seeing the crowd gather, Areej approached the actress, explaining what was going on. “As soon as I told her, she started crying profusely,” Areej added.

She further explained that the room where the actress was changing had glass that allowed people outside to see in, without the person inside being aware.

After comforting the girl, Areej said, “What was supposed to happen has happened. Nothing more will happen now. Please stop crying, and be careful next time.”
