Speaking about it, Omair Rana said, “Once, I met a fan at PC who had a picture with me. He asked how I agreed to play Bilal Abbas Khan’s father, saying that I could at most portray his elder brother on screen. I was speechless. Likewise, there was a drama, which I won’t name, where I was playing the role of Layla Wasti’s husband and we had a mature daughter. In one scene, she was rushing our daughter to the hospital in worry, and I was coming from the office. I asked what had happened, and she said that I was soon becoming a grandfather. I laughed out loud — my laughter in that scene is genuine because I was literally trying to digest that situation where I was playing a Nana.”
