Actress and aesthetic surgeon Shaista Lodhi made a guest appearance on the late-night talk show 'Mazaaq Raat.' During the show, she criticized the Pakistani obsession with fair skin.
She disclosed that many women visit her clinic with the intention of lightening their skin tone.
“Literally, I say to them do you want to look like pigeons? Kyun kay wo already is tarhan ki complexion ki hoti hain kay aur zarorat nah hain. Ab sirf rang phat sakta hai.”
Previously, on 'The Talk Talk Show,' Lodhi shared her experiences with clients who sought her services after facing ridicule from their spouses regarding their physical appearance. She recounted an instance where a patient, accompanied by her husband, playfully suggested that the surgeon should transform his wife to resemble her.
