In a six-minute video, British-Pakistani journalist Reham Khan directly addressed rumours of her divorce from her husband Mirza Bilal. She confirmed the news as false and criticized trolls for their undue interest in her personal life.
She said, “Whether I get married 12 times or get divorced 12 times, it’s none of your bloody business,” Reham said. “If you gave this much attention to your life, career and children, you would be so much better.”
“Whoever’s sleep got disturbed because of our marriage, first of all, I want to tell them they can sleep now peacefully. Whoever was upset, they don’t need to stay worried any longer. We have taken care of our issues.” Reham Khan added.
In an intimate ceremony in Seattle last year, Reham married Mirza Bilal. She shared the news on social media, declaring it the happiest day of her life, marrying someone "who will be around me in my darkest hour."
