Saba Qamar Asks Viewers for Opinions on ‘Pamaal’
Saba Qamar has reached out to her audience, inviting them to share their thoughts on the 12th episode of her hit drama Pamaal.
In an Instagram story, the 41-year-old actress posted a still from the series, urging viewers to give their honest feedback if they had watched the newest episode.

While she continues to captivate audiences on screen, Saba is simultaneously making headlines for her firm stance against defamatory journalism. The actress is currently embroiled in a legal dispute with a journalist accused of making false and controversial remarks about her personal life.
She has issued a defamation notice demanding a public apology, removal of the offending content, and Rs100 million in damages. Saba warned that legal proceedings will move forward if the demands are not met within seven days.
The dispute reportedly surfaced after the journalist claimed in a podcast that Saba had lived in a house in Walton, Lahore, allegedly provided by a former romantic partner. Saba publicly condemned the remarks as another example of how celebrities’ private lives are exploited for views and social media engagement.
She also urged other entertainers to speak up against derogatory commentary, stressing the need for unity and accountability within the industry.
Fans and fellow artists have rallied behind Saba, praising her courage in defending her reputation while continuing to focus on her work. Many appreciated how she addressed the issue directly without allowing it to affect her professional commitments.
Her engagement with viewers over Pamaal further highlights her strong connection with her audience, demonstrating her ability to balance on-screen excellence with real-life challenges.
Saba Qamar is widely acclaimed for several iconic performances, including Baaghi, Cheekh, Fraud, Besharam, Digest Writer, and the Bollywood film Hindi Medium, which solidified her status as one of the most versatile and respected actresses in South Asia.

Talking about it, Maya Khan said, “My savings were taken from me in my previous life; all my money was snatched by that man. I had spoken up about it everywhere and had all the proofs. I visited courts for two years, yet I couldn’t recover my hard-earned money. You’re right—I could have gone to the media, but when a person goes through trauma, such things don’t come to mind. I was literally suffering during my court days because when famous people like us go to court while covering our faces and people still recognize us, it becomes a cultural shock to see ourselves in such a weak position.”

Namra Shahid On Muamma & Working With Saba Qamar
Namra Shahid is a main-stream Pakistani television and film actor who began her career in 2016. Her most popular television shows include hits like Shahrukh Ki Saaliyaan, Saheliyaan, Saya-e-Deewar Bhi Nahi, Shiddat, Bholi Bano, Darr Khuda Se, Romeo Weds Heer, and Aye Musht-e-Khaak. Recently, fans praised her acting in Mohra, and these days she is receiving widespread acclaim for her outstanding performance in Hum TV’s Muamma. Viewers are also praising her on-screen chemistry with Saba Qamar and the storyline between Jiji and Asiya.
Recently, Namra Shahid appeared on Fuchsia Magazine’s popular YouTube show, hosted by Rabia Mughni. During the show, she discussed how she landed the role in Muamma and shared her experience working alongside Saba Qamar.
Talking about the Muamma offer, Namra Shahid said, “I was called by Irum Bint-e-Shahid from HUM TV. She said, ‘We are doing a big project with a big cast and the character is very strong. It is the role of Jahanara’s attendant.’ I was shocked and said to her, ‘Is this why I gave ten years to the industry—to accept a maid’s role?’ She then explained that it is an important character because the whole story revolves around Jahanara and Asiya, and that it is not a typical saas-bahu drama. She also told me that Saba Qamar is playing Jahanara. When I heard Saba Qamar’s name, I said, ‘I’m sold.’ I didn’t even read the script at first. Later, I asked for the script, and after reading five episodes, I was blown away. It was amazing, and working with Saba Qamar itself was a great opportunity.”
Talking about her relationship with Jahanara, aka Jiji, she said, “Asiya is loyal and wants to stay with Jiji because the way the script is written, it feels like Asiya is Jiji’s right hand. I think people didn’t perceive it the way it was written, or maybe it couldn’t be portrayed that way. Now, after seeing this episode, Asiya knows what happened in Jiji’s life. Jiji is now left with only one relationship, and that is Asiya. I also don’t understand why people think Asiya and Ashiq are not husband and wife. How is that even possible? There is a mystery behind the two separate beds in the room.”
