Saba Qamar Breaks Silence on Surviving a Heart Attack

Saba

Acclaimed actress Saba Qamar has revealed that she recently suffered a heart attack brought on by severe mental stress — an ordeal that she says reshaped her perspective on health, resilience, and emotional well-being.

In a recent interview, the Kamli and Baaghi star shared that she suddenly fell ill during a shoot and was rushed to the hospital, where doctors confirmed she had suffered a heart attack. She underwent angiography the next day and was advised to take a month-long rest. “I’m feeling much better now,” she reassured her fans.

Saba explained that heart attacks aren’t always linked to cholesterol, noting that emotional strain and overexertion can also weaken the heart. She urged her followers to prioritize mental health, warning that unchecked stress can have serious physical consequences.

It’s worth noting that on August 1, Saba was hospitalized after feeling unwell on set. Photos from the hospital went viral at the time. Earlier this month, she revealed that filming emotionally intense scenes for her drama Case No. 9, in which she plays a rape survivor, had taken a toll on her mental and physical health.

The actress also released a heartfelt message on Instagram for World Mental Health Month, encouraging open dialogue about emotional well-being. “Mental health is just as important as physical health,” she said, sharing that seeking help and honest conversations had been crucial to her recovery.

“We don’t talk about mental health enough — and when we do, it’s often in whispers,” she added. “But speaking up is a sign of strength, not weakness.”

Saba encouraged her followers to embrace small habits that nurture peace — like praying, journaling, reading, exercising, painting, or listening to music — and to reach out for help when needed. She also urged parents, teachers, and mentors to pay attention to children’s emotions, noting that “sometimes, just listening or validating their feelings can make the biggest difference.”

Zara Noor Abbas’ Remarks About Asad Siddiqui Leave Fans Wondering If All Is Well

Pakistani showbiz couple Zara Noor Abbas and Asad Siddiqui have long been admired for their chemistry, talent, and strong presence in the entertainment industry. The duo tied the knot in 2017 and quickly became one of the most talked-about celebrity couples in Pakistan both actors had already built impressive careers before their marriage, and over the years they have continued to win hearts with their work on television.

Currently, Zara Noor Abbas is receiving appreciation for her performance in the drama Ek Jhooti Kahani, while Asad Siddiqui has recently stepped into the world of production in addition to acting. The couple also entered a beautiful new phase of life when they welcomed their daughter, Noor e Jahan, in March 2024. Their little one is set to celebrate her second birthday this March, making the family moments even more special for the couple.

Recently, Zara and Asad appeared on a Ramzan transmission hosted by Javeria Saud. During the light-hearted conversation, the couple was asked an interesting question about surprises in their relationship.

When asked who gives more surprises, Zara responded with a witty remark, asking whether the question referred to pleasant surprises or unpleasant ones. Her response made the audience laugh, but she went on to explain that the couple no longer focuses on surprising each other. Instead, they prefer discussing their needs openly and making decisions together.

Asad Siddiqui quickly reminded his wife that he had recently surprised her with a car. Zara acknowledged the gesture but jokingly pointed out that it was a one-time surprise. The moment turned playful yet honest as she continued sharing small details about their daily life.

During the conversation, Zara Noor Abbas also teased her husband about spending a lot of time playing padel with his friends. According to her, Asad often goes out with friends and cousins to play the sport instead of staying home.

Interestingly, Zara revealed that she has now become quite fond of the game herself and enjoys playing it too. However, she jokingly complained that Asad still prefers hanging out with his friends more often.

In response, Asad Siddiqui defended himself by saying that he does try to balance his time between work, friends, and family. He emphasized that he makes an effort to spend quality time with both Zara and their daughter. But Zara humorously disagreed with his claim, which added a playful yet slightly awkward tone to the conversation.

After the interview aired, clips from the show quickly circulated on social media, sparking mixed reactions from fans. Some viewers felt that the couple appeared slightly uncomfortable during the conversation and began speculating about their relationship.

A few comments suggested that Zara seemed unhappy, with one user writing that she appeared to be in a “depressed marriage.” Another viewer commented that something about the interaction felt off and questioned whether the couple was truly happy together.

However, not everyone shared the same opinion. Several fans came to the couple’s defense, saying that their conversation simply reflected the realities of married life. According to these supporters, long-term relationships often include small disagreements, teasing, and honest discussions.

Some viewers even appreciated the couple’s candidness, saying it made them appear more relatable compared to the overly perfect image that celebrities sometimes portray online.

Alongside the debate about the couple’s relationship, a few viewers also criticized the host, Javeria Saud. Some felt that the questions asked during the Ramzan show were too personal and could potentially create unnecessary controversy.

Ramzan transmissions are usually known for their family-friendly atmosphere, and some fans believed that discussions about marital disagreements might not be suitable for such shows.

Despite the online chatter, many fans believe that Zara Noor Abbas and Asad Siddiqui simply showcased the realistic side of marriage. Their conversation reflected everyday situations couples experience -balancing work, personal interests, friendships, and family time.
