YouTuber and actor Shahveer Jafry has opened up about how he first met his wife Ayesha Baig, disclosing that a chance scroll through his Instagram direct messages led to their relationship.
In a recent interview on a private news channel, Shahveer remembered coming across Ayesha’s profile while looking through the many messages he received on Instagram.
“I was scrolling through my DMs randomly. I used to get a lot of messages daily, so I thought I’d just scroll through them. While scrolling, I happened to place my hand somewhere, and that profile was my wife’s. That’s the real story,” he explained.
Shahveer said that Ayesha was single at the time and that her pictures instantly drew his attention.
“I thought to myself, ‘Is this fake? No one can be this pretty,’” he recalled.
He added that he kept sending her simple greetings to find out whether the person behind the profile was real.
“I kept saying hello and hi to her for quite a while, just to find out if she was a real human being or some sort of robot,” Shahveer shared.
