Pakistani actor and singer Farhan Saeed has once again made headlines after sharing a clear stance on national loyalty, cultural exchange, and the backlash he continues to face online. While reaffirming his affection for Indian fans and friendships across the border, Farhan emphasized that his allegiance to Pakistan remains non-negotiable during times of conflict.
Speaking candidly during a recent conversation, the Suno Chanda star addressed the criticism that often follows his patriotic remarks. Farhan revealed that a significant portion of his fan base comes from India, thanks to the popularity of his dramas and music, as well as his past visits there. However, he said that supporting Pakistan should never be mistaken for harboring hatred toward India.
Farhan explained that expressing pride in his country does not translate into animosity toward another nation. According to him, standing by Pakistan, especially if it were under attack, is a natural response rooted in identity and belonging, not hostility. He added that expecting him to stay silent about his love for Pakistan is both unrealistic and unfair.
Touching on the broader cultural divide, Farhan highlighted how art and creativity transcend borders. He recalled growing up watching Indian films and listening to cross-border music, noting that shared culture once played a stronger role in bringing people together. He also suggested that the current generation and political climate have made such exchanges more complicated.
