On Ushna Shah’s talk show After Hours, Yasir claimed, “I launched Feroze Khan’s career,” crediting himself for casting Feroze in the 2014 drama Chup Raho alongside Sajal Aly. At the time, Feroze was a VJ with no acting experience, but Yasir said he saw potential and took a chance. “I am the one who gave the world a star,” he declared.
The comments have sparked debate, especially given Yasir’s past criticism of actor Alizeh Shah in 2021. Feroze had defended Alizeh at the time, calling out Yasir for belittling newcomers, raising speculation about how Feroze might react to these latest remarks.
Yasir’s claim has divided fans and industry insiders. Should he take credit for Feroze’s rise, or does the actor’s talent speak for itself?
