Indo-Pak Tensions: Mawra Hocane, Mahira Khan Erased from Indian Film Album Cover
In a fresh wave of cross-border fallout, the images of Pakistani actresses Mawra Hocane and Mahira Khan have been removed from the album covers of their Bollywood films Sanam Teri Kasam and Raees, respectively. The move follows the recent social media bans on Pakistani celebrities in India and reflects growing industry-wide restrictions. On platforms like Spotify and YouTube Music, Sanam Teri Kasam album covers now only show Indian actor Harshvardhan Rane, with Mawra Hocane entirely removed. Similarly, Mahira Khan’s image alongside Shah Rukh Khan has been edited out from the Raees music album art.
Harshvardhan Rane Exits Sanam Teri Kasam Sequel
This development comes just as actor Harshvardhan Rane announced his decision to withdraw from Sanam Teri Kasam 2 in the wake of the Pahalgam terror attack. Taking to Instagram, Rane stated he would not be part of the sequel “if there’s any chance of the previous cast returning,” implying disapproval of Mawra Hocane’s political stance. His statement included a pointed message against Mawra’s criticism of India’s Operation Sindoor, calling her remarks “unpardonable.”
Mawra Hocane Fires Back, Calls It Publicity Gimmick
Not one to stay silent, Mawra Hocane swiftly responded to Rane’s post, calling it a “PR strategy” rooted in desperation. She condemned the timing of his announcement, criticizing the exploitation of a sensitive geopolitical situation for personal attention. In a strongly-worded statement, Hocane said, “You just DO NOT use war for your personal benefit… it’s a grave situation.”

Mufti Abdul Qavi Claims Nikkah To Kareena Kapoor Khan | Internet Reacts With Shock
Controversial religious figure Mufti Abdul Qavi has once again found himself at the center of public criticism after making yet another bizarre statement, this time claiming that he was once in nikkah with Bollywood superstar Kareena Kapoor Khan.
Kareena Kapoor, one of Bollywood’s most celebrated actresses, comes from the iconic Kapoor family and has spent more than two decades at the top of the industry. She is married to actor Saif Ali Khan, and the two are widely recognized as one of Bollywood’s strongest power couples.
But Mufti Abdul Qavi, already infamous for his on-air controversies, strange remarks about female celebrities, and viral scandals involving figures like Qandeel Baloch and Hareem Shah, has now made an extraordinary new claim that has left the internet stunned.
In a recent statement, he alleged that he had a valid nikkah with Kareena Kapoor in 1982, despite the fact that she was born in 1980. He further argued that marriage with Hindus is permissible, bizarrely asserting that Hindus possess a “holy book” called Veer, which he referenced to justify his claim. He went on to say that he later endorsed Kareena’s marriage to Saif Ali Khan and declared that union “valid.”
As expected, social media erupted with disbelief and ridicule.
Users openly questioned his logic and timeline, with one pointing out,
“Kareena was born in 1980. How could she be in your nikkah in 1982?”
Another commented,
“He has lost all credibility. This is why scholars distanced themselves from him.”
Many also criticized his attempt to redefine religious concepts to support his story, calling the explanation “absurd” and “attention-seeking.”

Javeria Saud Hits Back After Sangeeta Revives Old Claim About Saud and Meera Affair
Javeria Saud has finally addressed the buzz surrounding a resurfaced story shared by senior actress Sangeeta, in which she spoke about an alleged past link between Javeria’s husband, actor Saud Qasmi, and Meera.
The controversy began after a clip from Sangeeta’s recent TV appearance went viral online. In the video, the veteran filmmaker narrated an old incident from the days of a film shoot, claiming she had once gone to Saud’s home to find out why he was late to set. She recalled that Saud kept glancing toward a pile of clothes in a corner, where, according to her, Meera was supposedly hiding.
Sangeeta further claimed that Meera didn’t want Saud to work with fellow actress Resham, which created tension on the film’s set.
As the clip circulated widely, it quickly turned into a social-media frenzy, prompting a direct reaction from Javeria Saud. The television star took to her Instagram Story and issued a sharp statement defending her husband and shutting down the narrative.
“Applause for you for pretending to be innocent while pulling out old, irrelevant stories just to tarnish a family man’s respect. That’s a real talent,” Javeria wrote.
She added that attempts to create drama around her marriage would not succeed, saying their bond remains rooted in “trust, love, and mutual respect,” leaving no room for sensational claims meant to attract attention.
Javeria and Saud, who tied the knot in 2005, are parents to two children, Jannat and Ibrahim. Despite the noise online, Javeria made it clear that such rumours hold no power over her family’s unity.
