Pakistani actress Komal Meer has finally opened up about persistent rumors surrounding cosmetic surgery and her recent physical transformation. During her candid appearance on Ahmed Ali Butt’s podcast, the rising star addressed public criticism, fat-shaming, and her journey with weight gain—all while clarifying misconceptions about undergoing any beauty procedures.
Komal Meer Denies Cosmetic Surgery Rumors
Responding to the speculation about having cosmetic work done, Komal Meer set the record straight. She confidently denied any involvement with surgical enhancements, saying she has never undergone cosmetic surgery. “These days, cosmetic treatments are more common among regular people than celebrities,” she pointed out. The Qalandar actress noted that while she regularly gets facials, she hasn't had any invasive procedures. “People look at my cheeks but ignore the fact that I have a double chin too,” she added humorously, shutting down the rumors with grace.
Fat-Shaming and Weight Gain for a Role
Komal Meer also touched on the hurtful fat-shaming she’s endured, both now and when she was underweight. The actress revealed she gained 6 kilograms for an acting role, a decision she made consciously to suit the character. “I’ve been told all my life to gain weight, and now that I have, people still criticize me,” she shared. Komal emphasized that the project, though delayed, gave her the motivation to embrace her body and enjoy food without guilt.
