Mubashir Luqman Criticizes Atif Aslam Over National Allegiance
Mubashir Luqman, a well-known Pakistani journalist and TV anchor, has never shied away from controversy, with decades of experience across leading news channels such as ARY News, Bol TV, and Express News, he is now actively running his digital platform on YouTube, where he continues to share strong and often unfiltered opinions. Having also served in Punjab’s caretaker cabinet back in 2007, Luqman’s political and media background gives weight to his statements.
This time, the spotlight has fallen on globally acclaimed singer Atif Aslam. In a recent conversation with anchor Naeem Hanif on RNN News, Mubashir Luqman expressed harsh criticism of Atif, questioning his patriotism. The senior journalist alleged that Atif Aslam declined to hold the Pakistani flag during a performance abroad, sparking debate about his connection to the country.
Luqman went as far as to curse the singer, saying, “If someone refuses to embrace their national identity, then what else can you call it except disgraceful?” The host drew a comparison with Indian singer Arijit Singh, who proudly carried his national flag during a massive concert. According to Luqman and Hanif, the singer allegedly pushed it away when a Pakistani fan attempted to hand Atif the green flag at a show in New York.
Some users echo Luqman’s disappointment, while others defend Atif, arguing that such claims should not be taken at face value without context. As debates continue, Atif Aslam himself has yet to respond to the criticism, leaving fans and followers awaiting his side of the story.

Internet Stunned as Mufti Abdul Qavi Joins the Rave Scene
A moment has left the internet stunned and amused, Mufti Abdul Qavi – a figure no stranger to controversy – has once again found himself at the center of a viral storm. This time, however, it isn’t a televised debate or a political statement drawing attention, but his surprising presence at what appears to be a late-night rave.
He is kown for his frequent appearances in headlines, Mufti Qavi has long walked a tightrope between religious authority and media spectacle. His past associations with figures like Qandeel Baloch and Hareem Shah have often fueled public intrigue, blurring the lines between reverence and notoriety. Yet, this latest sighting seems to have struck a different chord altogether.
The now-circulating footage shows the cleric standing amidst a crowd bathed in neon lights, as a DJ spins high-energy tracks in the background. Raves, typically characterized by pulsating music, dance floors, and an atmosphere of carefree indulgence, are rarely associated with religious scholars.
Dressed in his traditional attire, Mufti Qavi appeared noticeably out of place, yet undeniably present. Partygoers can be seen reacting with surprise, some pointing in disbelief, others capturing the moment on their phones. The juxtaposition of sacred identity against a setting defined by modern nightlife culture has quickly turned into a talking point across social media platforms.
As expected, the internet wasted no time delivering its verdict, often laced with humor and sarcasm. One viral comment quipped, “Got Mufti at a rave before GTA 6,” while another revived past controversies, suggesting that earlier criticisms may have held weight after all. A more biting remark read, “Mufti is trying to cancel his Jannat visa,”

Samar Jafri & Aashir Wajahat Tease New Track With Childhood Throwback
A wave of nostalgia swept through social media this week as two of Pakistan’s rising multi-talented stars, Samar Jafri and Aashir Wajahat, gave fans a heartfelt glimpse into their past while hinting at what’s next. The duo took to Instagram to tease their upcoming track Tum Na Ho, pairing the announcement with an adorable childhood throwback that instantly caught attention.
The photo, simple yet deeply personal, told a story. A story of two young boys who once shared dreams, now returning as established artists ready to collaborate again. For fans, it wasn’t just about a new song; it felt like witnessing a full-circle moment.
Tum Na Ho marks the second musical collaboration between the two, following their energetic track Aaja Chal Jhoomay from the film Daghabaaz Dil. Their on-screen chemistry was also appreciated in the Eid comedy Na Baligh Afraad, where their camaraderie translated effortlessly from real life to the big screen.
Interestingly, their latest project seems to echo a theme that has quietly followed them throughout their journey. In a previous conversation with Fuchsia Magazine, Samar and Aashir reflected on their early days in the industry while promoting their film, which revolved around children eager to step into adulthood. Iqrar Ul Hassan Bids Emotional Farewell to ARY After 21 Years
Iqrar Ul Hassan has officially stepped down from ARY Network, marking the end of an era that spanned more than two decades.
The seasoned anchor and investigative journalist, best known for his hard-hitting show Sar-e-Aam, shared the news through an emotional video on social media. Speaking directly to his audience, Iqrar revealed that he had submitted his resignation to ARY’s CEO, calling the decision a deeply difficult one.
Reflecting on his journey, Iqrar described his 21-year association with the network as nothing short of a blessing. From his early audition days in 2005 to becoming one of the most recognizable faces in Pakistani television, he credited ARY for giving him fame, respect, and a platform that connected him with millions across the country.
His career, as he recounted, was shaped by witnessing some of Pakistan’s most defining moments; from the era of Pervez Musharraf to the political rise of Imran Khan. He reported on protests, covered the historic Lawyers’ Movement, and even traveled internationally to conflict zones and disaster-hit regions, including Syria, Turkey, and Burma.
Beyond reporting, Iqrar’s journey also saw him addressing parliament and delivering lectures at globally renowned institutions such as University of Oxford and University of Cambridge.
But the decision to step away wasn’t made lightly. Iqrar revealed that his departure stems from a new chapter in his life; his entry into politics through his newly formed party, Awam Raah Tehreek. According to him, choosing between his media career and political ambitions was inevitable, and he ultimately decided to sacrifice the former for what he believes is a greater purpose.
In his message, he also reminisced about the personal connections built over the years, including memories tied to the ARY studios where he watched his son grow up. He fondly mentioned his late friend Raja Matloob, noting that he would have strongly debated this decision with him.
Despite his emotional farewell, the reaction online has been mixed. While many fans praised his courage to pursue a new path, others expressed concern, with some even calling it a risky move that could impact his legacy.
