British DJ and Grammy-winning producer Fred Again has put his own spin on Pal Pal, the viral hit by Pakistani artists Afusic and Ali Soomro, marking another milestone in the song's remarkable success story.

The unexpected moment quickly became a talking point online after Afusic, whose real name is Affan Khan, and Ali Soomro shared clips from Fred Again's recent livestream featuring Mexican band Latin Mafia. During the session, the internationally acclaimed producer was seen remixing Pal Pal, the version the Pakistani duo created alongside Indian singer Talwiinder.
Reacting to the moment on Instagram, the artists admitted that the song had grown far beyond anything they had imagined when they first started working on it.
Calling Pal Pal one of those rare creations that eventually "become bigger than us," the duo reflected on the incredible journey that transformed a passion project into one of Pakistan's biggest musical success stories.
Ali Soomro revealed that the song was born out of nothing more than a shared love for music. He explained that both he and Afusic balanced regular jobs while chasing their dream, often meeting in the studio late at night after long working days.
According to Soomro, those exhausting evenings eventually turned into unforgettable memories. He recalled how Afusic would arrive at the studio after work while he would already be waiting, eager to create something they genuinely believed in. Their goal, he said, was simply to make music they loved and give it a chance to reach listeners.
