Pakistani Stars Shares Patriotic Tributes on 78th Independence Day

Pakistan’s 78th Independence Day was not just a national celebration, it was a collective expression of love, pride, and hope as the country’s most beloved celebrities took to social media to mark the occasion. From actors and singers to cricketing heroes, each personality shared a unique tribute, uniting the nation in a digital wave of green and white.

Humayun Saeed and Samina Humayun Saeed set the tone with a picture-perfect moment, both clad in the national colours, radiating pride. Ali Zafar warmed hearts with a video of schoolgirls performing a patriotic song, spreading joy with his “Happy Independence Day” greeting.

Model and actress Areeba Habib hoisted the national flag outside her home, while Sana Faysal penned a note recalling the joy of childhood Independence Days but acknowledging the challenges Pakistan faces today; her prayer for the country’s revival struck a deep emotional chord.

Actor Danish Taimoor prayed for a Pakistan rich in unity and prosperity, while Ayeza Khan wished for peace to touch every corner of the homeland. Sonya Hussyn led followers in chanting “Pakistan Zindabad,” and Mawra Hocane called Pakistan her “sweet home,” urging kindness and compassion.

Hassan Ali summed it up simply: love for Pakistan runs deep in our veins.

This 14th August, the voices of Pakistan’s stars echoed a shared sentiment that no matter the challenges, the spirit of the nation will always shine bright.
