Saad Qureshi Credits Naumaan Ijaz for Enhancing His Acting Skills

Saad Qureshi, a talented actor and model celebrated for his remarkable performance in Bismil, credits veteran actor Naumaan Ijaz for shaping his craft and refining his acting skills.

Speaking as a guest on Gup Shap with Vasay Chaudhary, the Meer Abru actor shared insights into his acting journey and the mentorship he received from Naumaan Ijaz. “He taught me the advanced techniques I was missing—beyond the basics of acting. Even though I studied acting and am self-taught, there were gaps specific to our drama industry that he helped me fill,” Saad revealed. “Acting is like an ocean; you’re always learning. I love him for treating me like his own, teaching me just as he teaches Zaviyar.”

Discussing audience reactions, Saad shared mixed feedback for his Bismil character Moosa. “Initially, people struggled to understand the character, but as they grasped the family dynamics, they developed sympathy for Moosa,” he explained. He also recalled an emotional moment with his father after a performance: “Last night, my father kissed me on the forehead and said, ‘Son, you performed really well today.’ Moments like that make it all worthwhile.”

Reflecting on an unexpected success, Saad mentioned his role in Pagal Si Mein. “When I heard the title, I thought, ‘This must be a girl’s story,’ but reading the script connected me emotionally to the character. That drama became a huge hit, and the character is still loved by the audience,” he shared.

Known for dramas like Khuda Aur Muhabbat 2, Ghairat, and Jaana Main Kaun, Saad continues to captivate viewers with his performance in Bismil.
