Veteran Pakistani television actress Saima Qureshi, known for her memorable supporting and negative roles, has once again gone vir with her views on marriage; with a career spanning decades and notable projects like Ishq Beparwah, Nehar, Nikah, Bandhay Ek Dour Se, and most recently Duniyapur, Qureshi has long been admired for her talent and screen presence. However, her recent comments during a podcast appearance have shifted the spotlight from her acting to her personal opinions.
While speaking on Adnan FHM’s podcast, the actress defended her earlier remarks about men opting for multiple marriages. According to Saima Qureshi, if men have strong desires, they should choose marriage instead of pursuing immoral relationships that can ruin families. She emphasized that a man’s one wrong step outside marriage could harm not only his wife but also his children and future generations.
Qureshi openly stated that rather than indulging in extramarital affairs, men should consider second marriages, but only after having an honest discussion with their first wives. She added that society makes lawful marriages difficult while turning a blind eye to forbidden relationships. “If men can easily engage in haram deeds, why not make halal choices through marriage?” she questioned.
