During her appearance on Ahmed Ali Butt’s show ‘Mind Na Karna’, Mariyam discussed the topic of polygamy, specifically in light of cricketer Shoaib Malik's marriage. She expressed that while Islam permits men to have up to four marriages, it also dictates that men must treat their wives equally, a task she believes is challenging for most.
Mariyam stated that if her husband were to consider marrying again, she wouldn't oppose it but would instead seek a divorce.
