Anzela Abbasi has hit back firmly at critics targeting her clothing choices. The multi-talented actress, singer, and artist opened up about her husband’s positive take on her outfits during an interview, where she urged women to stand up against judgment over what they wear.
She emphasized that since her husband and in-laws approve of her style, no one else has the right to object—and stressed that people should never comment on others’ personal choices.
Anzela added that she always speaks her mind without hesitation and values confidence in voicing her opinions, saying, “If someone is focused on their own life, we shouldn’t meddle in theirs.”
Anzela's father is acclaimed actor Shamoon Abbasi and mother is actress Javeria Abbasi. She carved her own niche with bold choices and impactful performances. As an actress, she has starred in popular Urdu dramas like Gila (2016), where she played the lead role of Anzela alongside Wahaj Ali ; Baby (2017), essaying the titular character Aliya ; and the crime-mystery sequel Laal Ishq (2018), portraying Rameen . She also won praise for her role as Nimra in Main Haar Nahi Manoun Gi (2018) .
As a singer, Anzela has made waves in the music industry with several hit singles. Her discography includes 2020’s Boy Please , 2024’s melodic tracks Baarish Kay Mausam and Kaafi , and 2025 releases like Not the Same (featuring Taken & Jibran Abbasi) and Saari Raatein (featuring Taken) .
