Imran Ashraf Opens Up About Single Fatherhood

Pakistani actor Imran Ashraf, known for Ranjha Ranjha Kardi, recently opened up about being a single father in a candid interview. Despite personal challenges, he maintains a positive relationship with his ex-wife, actor and model Kiran Ashfaque.

During a recent appearance on the talk show Khabar, Imran discussed raising his son in today’s world, emphasizing that he makes his son a central part of his life, even bringing Roham to film sets. This approach has fostered a strong bond between them, and Imran described caring for his son as natural and fulfilling.

“He meets his mother when he wants to, of course. This is a very distressing situation which is being handled with love. My son is very happy on account of both his parents. He is my prince,” Imran beamed. “All I’ll say is that this (raising a child) isn’t hard. What’s more precious than your own child?”

The actor furthered on, “God has given me everything I have ever asked for. Even my career. So when you have such a lovely child like I do, what more could I ask for?”

Imran Ashraf Committed to in Co-Parenting

Imran emphasised that both of them remain committed to co-parenting their son, Roham. As per the actor, his primary focus is on ensuring that Roham grows up with a healthy perspective on both his parents. He highlighted his dedication to being a good father, stating, “I answer all of Roham’s questions with honesty, show him affection and care, and avoid any behavior that could be harmful or unethical.”

Imran and Kiran announced their separation in October 2022 after four years of marriage. In their public statement, they expressed their intention to co-parent Roham and requested privacy during the difficult transition. Despite the end of their marital relationship, their mutual respect and commitment to their son remain evident.

Known for his iconic roles in Pakistani dramas, the actor has steadily built a name with his acting prowess. Recently, Imran was seen in the riveting thriller Namak Haram. He discussed his latest venture in a candid BBC Urdu interview last year where he reflected on the project’s premise. Imran expressed his initial intrigue upon hearing the drama’s title and the compelling storyline that further captivated his interest.

He dove into the backstory of his collaboration with writer Saqlain Mushtaq and director Shakeel Khan, highlighting their synergy in bringing forth a narrative that sheds light on societal issues. His character as a home-maid underscores the struggles and injustices faced by domestic workers, exposing the darker facets of our society.

The actor stressed the importance of messaging in storytelling, asserting that Namak Haram conveys a powerful message about the consequences of exploiting others. He urged viewers not to solely perceive the drama as a reflection of reality but to immerse themselves in the crafted narrative, akin to experiencing a character from a Netflix series, emphasising, “It’s a story created by my writer and director, and I am part of it.”

When questioned about the pressure from the colossal success of his previous character, Bhola, Imran responds with a profound analogy, comparing the pressures actors face to the necessity of every breath. He emphasizes the ongoing learning process and the need to fully immerse oneself in a new character to do it justice.

Imran compares the necessity of delving into a new character to the vital need for every breath, stating, “One who thinks he knows all doesn’t feel pressure, and I am still learning.” He underscores the importance of wholly embodying a character to do it justice, relying on his director for guidance in crafting the nuances specific to each role.

Tazeen Hussain Starts a New Chapter with Her Marriage

Actress, professor, and daughter of senior actor Talat Hussain, Tazeen Hussain has tied the knot for the second time.

A close friend shared photos of her wedding on Instagram, showing a simple and warm ceremony attended by family, friends, and close acquaintances.

Tazeen looked stunning on her big day, wearing a traditional red and gold bridal outfit with elegant jewellery and makeup.

She held the wedding ceremony on Friday in Karachi.

Tazeen’s husband, Amir Sayedin, hails from Karachi, completed his higher education in Lahore, and has been living in Riyadh since 2001. He works in the financial sector and has authored several books and ghazals under the pen name Ain Sein.

Tazeen Hussain has served the education sector for many years as an associate professor and department head at various universities.

In a recent statement, she said, “Widows of society need to move forward from the grief of their late husbands,” highlighting her inspiring journey of resilience and hope.

Tazeen returned to television in 2023 with the drama serial Yunhi and has since appeared in several other notable dramas and telefilms, including Mahlat and Aurat.

Who is Tazeen Hussain?

Hussain began her acting career in 1994 with Shalimar Television Network’s telefilm Raqeeb, starring opposite Faisal Rehman. She later appeared in Syed Mohammad Ahmed’s telefilm Aurat. In Shahpar, she portrayed a young woman struggling with management issues.

After a break of more than fifteen years, Hussain returned to television in Mohammed Ehteshamuddin’s Yunhi, where she played a composed, divorced daughter from a typical Pakistani family. She then starred in Mehreen Jabbar’s Jurm, portraying a mother in search of justice for her murdered daughter.

Sabahat Bukhari had a very realistic attitude towars working in India. She said that yes she has also received offers and when she is aware of reality then what is the use of going to work there and come back after getting insulted like what has happened to other Pakistani artists. Thus she never considered those offers seriously.
