Meanwhile, Instagram restricted access to several Pakistani celebrities’ accounts for users in India, acting on a legal request tied to content regulation. Among those affected were Mahira Khan and Hania Aamir.
Indian users trying to access their profiles saw the message: “Account not available in India. This is because we complied with a legal request to restrict this content.”
This follows earlier actions by India’s Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, which blocked several Pakistani YouTube channels, including major news and entertainment platforms.
