Veteran Pakistani actor and writer Syed Mohammad Ahmad has admitted he regrets holding a years-long grudge against actress Hira Mani, revealing the details during a recent podcast appearance.
Ahmad said he developed differences with Hira on the set of a project and ignored her repeated apologies. “She kept messaging me saying, ‘I am sorry,’ but I was so angry that I never replied,” he recalled.
He revealed that the rift even affected his work, saying he refused to share scenes with her in the hit drama Meray Paas Tum Ho, despite her playing his on-screen daughter.
Reflecting on the past, Ahmad said he now feels guilty about his actions. “When we met recently, she hugged me and cried. I realized I was wrong to avoid her for so many years and to speak negatively about her in the industry. I made a big mistake,” he said.
